Impious is a dark turn-based RPG with deep Diablo-style itemization. Explore dangerous rooms, craft your build around the loot you find, manage your impulses in tactical combat and shape your own path out of the depths. Lose a fight and you won’t die, but you will be corrected. Lose your will entirely, and there is no coming back.

Captured for your sins and dragged into an underground indoctrination center, you must fight, negotiate and scavenge your way through a system built to break your will. Every door hides a different threat. Every choice carries real consequences. Obey their rules or learn to break them.

  • Loot: Weapons, amulets and artifacts packed with affixes to combine. Build your character by optimizing attributes, odds and stats to survive.
  • Manage Your Impulses: Stack impulses onto your skills, spend energy to generate or reroll them, and choose wisely which to use each turn. Every decision in combat is yours.
  • Choose Your Path: Each door shows the odds of what lies behind it. Shrines, loot, merchants or enemies… only you decide when and what to risk.
  • Negotiate: Some of the center’s servants might be willing to deal. Money has no place here, but every object has value. Barter wisely.
  • Craft: The facility is full of materials, use them to create weapons or consumables. What you craft could save your life or buy you one more turn.
  • Protect Your Will: Losing a fight won’t end your run, but you will be corrected. Lose your will entirely, and there is no one left to save.
